Aaron grew up in Arkansas and graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with his B.A. in Biblical Studies and then in 2012 with an M.A. in Theology from Liberty Seminary. For 10 years he served in youth ministry and has been pastoring college students since 2010. Aaron joined The Salt Network team in July 2016 to continue the vision of planting next-generational churches. He is passionate about seeing college students actively involved in the local, multi-generational church. Aaron is married to Kristen and has three children – Korben, Klaire, and Graham.
Caleb grew up in Southern Illinois and graduated in 2015 from Union University in Tennessee. Caleb and his wife Brandie were married in November of 2016 and have two girls, Mila Kate & Teagan. Caleb joined The Salt Network team in July 2017 to be trained and sent as the Salt Director to the University of Kansas. Their family is excited to follow God's call to join with a church plant that seeks to multiply the gospel in Lawrence and at the University of Kansas.
Dana was born in North Dakota and raised by Gospel loving parents. After graduating he attended Grace University in Omaha, NE. During this time, he fell in love with Jesus and His church. In 2013, Dana graduated with his bachelors degree in worship ministry and Biblical Studies. He has been serving the church for over 10 years. Dana, his wife Kirstie, son Crusoe, and daughter Sparrow lived and served in Ames, IA for 2 years and are now very excited to be in Lawrence serving at Story Hill.
Creative Arts Coordinator & Story Hill Coordinator
Brooke grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas and graduated with a B.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith. She has been actively pursuing design and photography since about 2008. She has been serving the church since 2008 in youth and college ministry. She is thrilled to use the talents God gave her as the Creative Arts Coordinator on the Story Hill team. She is thrilled to be in Kansas and take part in the work God has for the team and the city of Lawrence.
Salt Company Resident
Earl grew up in Manson, Iowa and recently graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in May with a B.A. in Psychology. While at UNI he was a part of The Salt Company Cedar Falls and Candeo Church. He is the Salt Resident for Salt Lawrence and will be working on a seminary degree through CST. Earl is excited for the opportunity to serve the students of KU and be apart of what God is doing in Lawrence.
Salt Company Resident
Caraline was born and raised in Lakeville, Minnesota until attending The University of Kansas in 2015. As of May 2019, Caraline has graduated with a B.A. in Exercise Science and begun her Residency with Story Hill Church and Salt Company. Caraline and her fiancé, Thomas, are set to be married in July 2019. They are excited to serve Lawrence and make disciples in the years ahead at Story Hill.
Kids Ministry Leader
Afton was born and raised in Ames, Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2018 with a B.A. in English. She grew up attending Cornerstone church in Ames and has been a leader in a variety of ministries, including Salt Company and international ministry while in college. Afton is passionate about helping kids understand the gospel and excited to disciple the next generation of Story Hill Church.
Kids Ministry Leader
Tara grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa and attended Iowa State University where she grew in her relationship with God through the Salt Company. She graduated with her bachelors degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services in 2017 and has worked in childcare for 5+ years. She and her husband, Nate, got married in 2017. Tara is excited to show God’s love to the young children who attend Story Hill Kids.
Church Planting Candidate
Brandon is originally from Arkansas. He attended Ouachita Baptist University and graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and received his Masters in Theological Studies from Midwestern Seminary. Brandon accepted the call to church planting 2015 and is now partnering with the Salt Network to continue planting churches focused on the next-generation. Brandon is ready to serve the KU campus and the surrounding community!
