WHAT IS The salt COMPANY?

The Salt Company is the college ministry of Story Hill Church. Story Hill is a multi-generational church with a focus on reaching the next generation, specifically college students at the University of Kansas and in the Lawrence area.

The Salt Company exists to make disciples who make disciples on the campus in Lawrence for the world. We gather weekly on Thursday nights on campus and in small groups throughout the week led by other students.

Fall Retreat

Each fall, we get away for the weekend to spend time together and learn from God’s word. Fall Retreat is the best weekend of the year! September 25-27, 2026… mark your calendars!

The Salt Company Conference

Every year, we gather with thousands of other college students from our family of churches. Mark your calendars for February 5-7, 2027 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City!

Caleb Keaton

director

  • Steak (rare) and brussels sprouts with blackberry cobbler and vanilla ice cream for dessert!

  • Standing on the steps of Watson looking out over Jayhawk Boulevard in the fall.

  • I’m married to Caroline and we have two girls (Olivia and Lillian) and a boy on the way! I love to play golf, and on Saturdays in the fall you’ll find me watching college football.

  • I love an outdoor adventure, I grew up in South Carolina, and I can speak French

  • I love to play piano, I’ll beat you in a foot race, and my perfect day involves playing basketball on top of a mountain (with a net around the court so that the ball doesn’t fall down)

  • I love to sing, I’m allergic to cats but live with one, and I’m better than Caleb at tennis.

  • I love playing guitar, going camping, and I am slowly starting to like books!
