WHY lawrence, ks?

In a city of over 100,000 people and almost 30,000 students, we feel that God is calling us to reach the students and community with the hope of the Gospel. Lawrence is a city that celebrates free-thinking, diversity, academics, and sports. These individuals and families deserve to hear the story of Jesus. We are compelled to give them an opportunity to respond to the only thing worth celebrating, the story of God in their lives.

WHY UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS?

KU sits atop Mount Oread, a hill that rises out of the landscape and wheat fields of Eastern Kansas. This limestone ridge is where thousands of students from all 50 states and 105 countries form their beliefs that will impact the rest of their lives. While some pursue academics, sports, relationships, or different expressions of freedom, we are compelled to pursue them with the story of Jesus. These students are the next generation. They will go on to influence lives, families, careers, and communities. Our prayer is that they know Jesus and go on to be Gospel influencers.
